Graduated from Adam Mickiewicz University in Pozńan at the Institute of Sociology and then obtained a doctorate from the same institution.

Seit 1998

Director, initiator and curator of Zewnętrzna Galeria AMS (Outdoor Gallery AMS) since 1998. Zewnętrzna Galeria AMS is a private billboard project sponsored by the biggest Polish outdoor company. This project presents and promotes socially oriented art in the context of a city space.

He was also curator and co-curator of several other exhibitions and public projects (Outside/Na Zewnętrzna, [CSW Łaźnia, Gdańsk, 2001] novart.pl[Kraków, 2002], 52 Meters of Art: “Here I’m” [Pozńan, 1999]; Art By The Way [Kraków, 2002] and other).

Marek Krajewski is also a lecturer at the Adam Mickiewicz University in Pozńan (Institute of Sociology). He specializes in sociology of art, cultural studies, studies in popular culture and consumption. Author of about 40 academic and popular articles and of the book entitled: Cultures of Popular Culture (in Polish, 2003). Currently he is helping to create a visual sociology workshop/study at the Institute.
