The project investigates the early phase of liberal economy and social transition in Croatia with its influence on architecture and urban developments. The main interest is focused on the hybrid types of emerging community spaces - physical spaces for production of social exchange.

3D Journal functions as media space whose purpose is raising the consciousness and responsibility of the general public towards space and rethinking architecture and urban planning in one's own context.

It is a research platform open both to experts from diverse fields and the general public, to engage in work and discussion on the topic of current spatial problems. The strategy of the project is multi-layered and includes research, workshops, media action, public presentations and discussions and archiving of material.
